Dr. David Stifter is Professor for Old and Middle Irish at the National University of Ireland Maynooth. He received his Ph.D. in Indo-European Linguistics / Celtic Studies at the University of Vienna. His research interests are Ancient Celtic languages and Old Irish language literature.
