Dr. Adel S. Abadeer studied economics as an undergraduate student at Alexandria University, Egypt. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University, where he continued his research at the Boston Institute for Developing Economies, in addition to teaching at Boston University. As an associate professor of economics at Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan, his ongoing research interests include the new institutional economic analysis of poverty, gender discrimination, and the marginalization of ethnic minorities in less developed countries.
