Dr. Cowen received her Ph.D. from Arizona State University in exercise and wellness, her M.A. from Columbia University in applied physiology, and her B.S. in music from Indiana University.
Dr. Cowen is assistant professor of massage therapy in the department of Health, Physical Education and Dance at Queensborough Community College—the City University of New York.
