Timothy G. Grammer received his Ph.D. in History from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2002. In 1998 he received his Masters degree in European History from the same university, following a Bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University. Between 1979 and 1987 he served as an infantry officer in the United States Army.
