Burgess, Thomas Paul

About the author: Thomas Paul Burgess attended Oxford University and University College Cork, where he was awarded a PhD. He has been a schoolteacher; head of Community Relations in local government in Northern Ireland, and a researcher for the Opsahl Commission of Inquiry into political progress in Northern Ireland. His book A Crisis of Conscience – moral ambivalence and education in Northern Ireland was published by Avebury. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Applied Social Studies, University College, Cork.
