Dr. Samuel Agyei-Mensah is an Associate Professor and Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ghana, Legon, Accra, Ghana. He is also Professor of Geography and former Head of the Department of Geography. He received his Ph.D. in Geography from the Norwegian University of science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway. His research interest is demography, geography of health and development studies. He is a member of the Population Association of America, Union of African Population Studies, and the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population. He serves on the editorial board of Population and Environment (Springer).
