Dr. Otwin Marenin is Professor in the Political Science/Criminal Justice Department at Washington State University. He received his Ph.D. in Comparative Politics from University of California, Los Angeles. His recent research and publications have focused on developments in international policing, transnational police assistance programs, and efforts to reform the policing systems in failed, transitional and developing states.
