Dr. Nikolai Kovalev is an Assistant Professor of Criminology and Law & Society at Wilfrid Laurier University (Canada). He completed his Ph.D. at Queen’s University Belfast (United Kingdom). He also received an LL.M from Indiana University at Bloomington (United States). His research is focused on comparative criminal justice, criminal law and criminal procedure.
