It examines what barriers they overcame, and what strategies they used to get by obstacles. There are twelve Hispanic women in leadership positions in academia, government, and private sector employment who provide rich data for this study.
The results of this study prove that there are key ingredients to success in life. Hard work, family support, self-respect, determination, goal-orientation, helped these people to accomplish their career aspirations.
