Dr. Marjorie Fitzpatrick is Director of Quality and Institutional Memory at All Hallows College Dublin. She received her Ph.D. with specialization in the Sociology of Music and Eliasian Sociology from University College Dublin.

Its aims are to find out if music reflects cultural changes and whether music is an indicator of power positions within court society utilizing the theoretical framework of Norbert Elias' social theory.
