About the author: Kevin McGuinness received his DJSci from the University of Toronto. He is the Steele Raymond Professor of Business Law at Bournemouth University. He has published internationally in several distinct fields of law, and the author of the leading text in the Commonwealth on the Law of Guarantee. He has had more than 11 years of legal practice in government, private practice, and as in-house counsel to major corporations.
