Dr. Kathleen Woodruff Wickham is currently an Associate Professor of Journalism at the University of Mississippi. She received her Ed.D. from the College of Education at the University of Memphis.

The Ledger was awarded the 1983 Pulitzer Prize Gold Medal for public service for its massive coverage of a special legislative session that enacted significant educational reforms in Mississippi.
