José Dávila-Montes is an Assistant Professor of Spanish Translation and Interpreting and the Director of the graduate and undergraduate translation programs of the Department of Modern Languages in the University of Texas at Brownsville. He is also the coordinator of an online MA degree on Audiovisual Translation by the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has been teaching Translation, Interpreting, Spanish and Japanese since 1999 in several universities in Spain and the U.S.
