John C. Pierce is Professor Political Science and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He is the author or co-author of a dozen books and has published in The American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, American Journal of Political Science, The Social Science Quarterly and other scholarly journals. He received his PhD from the University of Minnesota.
