Malcolm, Hab David

Professor Dr. Hab David Malcolm was born in Aberdeen and studied at the universities of Aberdeen and Zurich and at University College London. He has taught in Japan and the USA, and is Professor of English Literature at the University of Gdansk. His books include Jean Rhys: A Study of the Short Fiction (with Cheryl Alexander Malcolm) (Twayne, 1996), That Impossible Thing: The British Novel, 1978-1992 (Gdansk University Press, 2000) and Understanding Ian McEwan (University of South Carolina Press, 2002).
