Edwards, Elaine

Since 1976, Elaine Edwards and Dr. James Starr, co-founders of the Great Plains Trio, have collaborated in the study and performance of chamber music. Elaine Edwards pursued doctoral studies and chamber music study at Indiana University with Walter Robert and Menahem Pressler. Both have served as active performers and professors of violin and piano respectively at Emporia State University.
