About the author: Eda Henao is an Assistant Professor at the Borough of Manhattan Community College of the City University of New York. She specializes in Contemporary Spanish American literature, Caribbean Women’s literature, and Latino literature. She received her MA and her PhD from The Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York.
