Dr. Claudia A. Mitchell is a James McGill Professor in the Faculty of Education at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is also an Honorary Professor in the School of Language, Literacies, Media, and Drama Education at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. Dr. Mitchell holds a Ph.D. in Elementary Education from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
