About the author: Charles MacQuarrie is an Assistant Professor of English at California State University, Bakersfield. He holds a B.A. in literature from the University of California at Santa Cruz, an MLitt in Celtic Studies from the University of Edinburgh, and a PhD in Medieval English and Celtic Language and Literature from the University of Washington. He is the Editor of the Celtic Studies Association of North America Newsletter.
