Dr. Ben Kooyman completed his Ph.D. on Shakespeare, film and self-fashioning at Flinders University, South Australia. He is currently a Language and Learning Adviser at the University of South Australia. Recent publications in the field of horror cinema include essays on Stuart Gordon, John Landis, and Masters of Horror; Eli Roth’s Hostel Part II and Karyn Kusama’s Jennifer’s Body; and film adaptations of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
