Wally Swist’s poems have appeared widely in such publications as The Duchess of Malfi’s Apricots and Other Literary Fruits (University of South Carolina Press), The Yale Literary Magazine, and Yankee Magazine’s 60th Anniversary Issue. His books include The New Life (Plinth Books), selected by Small Press Distribution (SPD) as one of their top thirty bestselling books of poetry, and Mount Toby Poems (Timberline Press), issued in a letterpress limited edition. A short biographical documentary film regarding his work, In Praise of the Earth, was released by filmmaker Elizabeth Wilda through WildArts.
