Dr. R.E. Stansfield is Honorary Research Fellow in History at the University of Lancaster, where he teaches on early-medieval and late-medieval Europe.
He studied at the University of Lancaster, where he obtained his Ph.D., and he has also studied at the University of Copenhagen.
