Egan, Michael
Dr. Michael Egan has taught at universities throughout the USA and England, and is Scholar in Residence at Brigham Young University, Hawaii. Born and educated in South Africa, he earned his B.A. from Witwatersrand University, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Cambridge University. Dr. Egan edited the Cambridge Review while at Cambridge University and was the first Contributing Literary Editor for the London Times Higher Education Supplement. He is the author of ten books, including Ibsen: The Critical Heritage and Extreme Situations: Literature and Crisis from the Great War to the Atom Bomb [with David Craig].
