About the author: Dr. Merav Nagel is a researcher and a professor of Exercise Science at Idaho State University. She is a sport Psychologist whose concern for the body-mind-spirit connection in the health of athletes serves her students well. Dr. Nagel has varied valuable experience. This study examines the factors that contribute to eating disorders in females athletes, filling a gap in the existing scholarship on the subject.
