About the author: Dr. G. Steven Neeley received his PhD from the University of Cincinnati, and his J. D. from the University of Cincinnati college of Law. He is currently Associate Professor of Philosophy at Saint Francis College., as well as an Attorney-At-Law in private practice. This is one of the only studies to argue that a consistent reading of Schopenhauer is possible, making it a significant contribution to the literature. It argues convincingly that the prominent objections to Schopenhauer’s philosophy are based upon crude misunderstandings of the text.
