Bernard F. Donahoe, C.S.C. (PhD, history, Notre Dame) is the author of Private Plans and Public Dangers: The Story of FDR’s Third Nomination. A Brother of Holy Cross, he is Professor of History at St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana.
